From this intake, TytoCare generates a family health profile that powers a personalized experience for each household.

Smart Checkup is a new AI-powered experience that helps users decide what to do the moment a health concern arises. Through a short, conversational flow, users explore symptoms, conduct relevant exams, and review the resulting insights — then decide on their own next step, with the option to continue to a clinician at any time. Smart Checkup supports care decisions and offers reassurance; it does not diagnose or replace professional clinical judgment.

Built for smoother clinical visits
SKIN EXAM: ADJUSTABLE LIGHTING
Real-time lighting control during skin exams
Providers can now remotely control the Tyto device's illumination light during synchronous skin exams. Clinicians can turn the light on or off and adjust its brightness level in real time, allowing them to optimize lighting conditions for each examination. This enhancement helps improve image quality and supports more visual assessments.
MAINTAIN GUEST PARTICIPANT SESSION
Guests stay connected across waiting room transitions
Organizations can allow guest participants to remain connected when a visit is moved back to the waiting room. During the visit, the provider can decide whether to keep guest participants connected or disconnect them when returning the visit to the waiting room. This is especially useful for interpreters or translators who need to remain available throughout the visit, even as providers or nurses join and leave the session — eliminating the need for guests to reconnect multiple times.

SYMPTOM-BASED EXAM RECOMMENDATIONS
The right exams, driven by symptoms
For clinicians configured to use the Tyto app with the guided flow, Tyto can now recommend the most relevant exams based on the symptoms entered for the patient. These recommendations help teams that use Guided Flow perform consistent, symptom-driven examinations — reducing the need for clinical decision-making and supporting a more standardized exam workflow.

AUTO-SELECT VISIT MODE
Fewer clicks when there's no decision to make
Organizations can now configure the intake flow to automatically skip the Forward exam screen when only one forward option is available. This removes unnecessary clicks when there is no decision to make, improving efficiency and creating a smoother visit intake experience.
