Troubleshooting: Error 30005 or 30007 – Cellular Connection Detected

Technical Breakdown

Code 30005 or 30007
Type Error
Category Network
Message You are connected via cellular. This may affect quality and isn’t advisable. We suggest shifting to Ethernet or 5 GHz WiFi.

What is this about?

The system has detected that you are using a cellular data connection (LTE, 4G, or 5G). While mobile networks have improved, they are inherently unstable for high-fidelity clinical examinations. Cellular signals fluctuate rapidly based on tower distance, physical obstructions, and network congestion.

Potential Risks

Cellular connections are “finicky.” They can be perfectly clear one moment and completely unusable the next. This leads to video stuttering, robotic audio, and unexpected call drops. Using a mobile hotspot for medical exams is highly inadvisable if any other network is available.

Suggested Actions to Take

  • Priority 1: Ethernet Connection. If your desktop or laptop supports it, plug in an Ethernet cable. This provides the most stable path for video.
  • Priority 2: 5 GHz Wi-Fi. If you must use wireless, ensure you are on a 5 GHz Wi-Fi band and positioned close to the router.
  • Last Resort: Optimize Cellular. If cellular is your only option:
    • Move to an area with higher bars of reception (near a window or outdoors).
    • Avoid moving around during the call to keep the signal lock stable.
    • Check that you have not exceeded your high-speed data limit, as “throttled” data is insufficient for video.
