Error 7: TytoCare Device failed the pairing process

Steps to resolve this issue:

  • Check and make sure that your phone or tablet are on the correct WIFI
  • Ensure that your WIFI is 2.4Ghz
  • Ensure that the WIFI password is correct
  • Try and move closer to your router or access point when pairing
  • Completely close the TytoCare App on your phone or tablet. Open the TytoCare App, sign in and try pairing again
  • Check to make sure that the date, time and time zone is correct on your phone or tablet
