Set up your TytoHome

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for setting up TytoHome for the first time.
 
Before you get started, charge your TytoDevice and have your Wi-Fi password ready.
Step 1: Download the Tytocare app
  1. NOTE: DO NOT create a TytoCare account in the TytoCare app. It will be created automatically via your MyChart account.
  2. Download the TytoCare app via Apple or Android.
Step 1: Download the MyChart app
  1. If it's your first time, please download MyChart via Apple or Android, then choose Presbyterian as your organization
  2. If you have an existing account, please login with your MyPRES account.
 
Step 2: Open the MyChart app & Click on TytoCare

In the MyChart app, open the menu and tap ‘TytoCare". You will be guided through the activation process. Each user only has to do this one.

Step 3: Activate TytoCare
Follow the instructions in the TytoCare app to complete the setup before your first visit. For additional support, please call TytoCare Support at 1-866-670-7440
Step 4: Complete Welcome Visit
This training session is a non-clinical conversation that will help you feel comfortable using the TytoCare Medical Exam Kit. In the MyChart app, navigate to the "Start a Welcome Visit Card", and  click on the card. After clicking the card, a popup is shown that will allow you to start your visit.
Step 1: Open the MyChart app
After completing the setup, log into your Presbyterian MyChart Account, tap the "Menu", and select "Virtual Urgent Care Visit" or the visit you have scheduled and follow the instructions in the app.
 
Step 2: Complete MyChart eCheck-In
Review each page if eCheck-In, fill out the questionnaire and tap "Submit" once complete. Select "Yes I have a TytoCare Home Device" when prompted.
 
Step 3: Begin your TytoCare appointment
Select the scheduled "TytoCare Appointment", tap "Begin Visit", and the TytoCare app will launch. You will be placed in a virtual waiting room, similar to being in line at a clinic or hospital. When the attending clinician is ready for your online visit, a pop-up window will appear. Tap "Join visit" to proceed.
