Get Started Now!

Now that you have your TytoCare device, it's important to get set up right away so you're ready for a video visit. Before you start, make sure you have your Wi-Fi and password handy.
 
Before you get started, charge your TytoDevice and locate your Wi-Fi password.
Step 1: Download the Tytocare app
  1. NOTE: DO NOT create a TytoCare account in the TytoCare App.
  2. Download the TytoCare App via Apple or Android.
Step 1: Download the Corewell Health app
  1. Tap the "Login to MyChart" banner in the middle of the landing page.
  2. Create an account. If you have an existing account, please login with your MyChart account.

NOTE: Notifications need to be turned on for both the Corewell Health and TytoCare apps.

 
Step 2: Activate TytoCare
In Corewell Health app, navigate to the menu and scroll to select “TytoCare Pairing”, which will launch the TytoCare app. Follow the in-app instructions to complete device setup and pairing.

Note: For assistance in pairing your device, you may call 1-616-278-1841.
 
Step 3: Complete set up for covered family members (if needed)
You can also complete set up for family members. Select the person you have proxy access to in Corewell Health app, open the menu, and select, ‘TytoCare Pairing’.
Step 4: Complete a free Welcome Visit
The Welcome Visit is a live walk through of a TytoCare visit with a Tyto trainer to make you feel comfortable using your TytoCare Medical Exam Kit.
Step 1: Open the Corewell Health app
Tap the "Login to MyChart" banner in the middle of the landing page. Select "Virtual Urgent Care."
 
Step 2: Complete eCheck-in

Up to 15 minutes prior to your appointment log in to the Corewell Health app, go to ‘Appointments and Past Visits’. Click ‘eCheck-In’ for your upcoming TytoCare appointment, review and fill out each page. Once done, click ‘Join Video Visit’ to proceed. Follow prompts and update fields as needed.

Please note: Your eCheck-in must be complete before you can start your visit.

 
Step 3: Begin your video visit using TytoCare

Once your eCheck-in is complete, tap the green “Begin Visit” button. “Waiting for provider” will display until the provider joins the video visit. The TytoCare app will launch and you will be placed in the queue into a waiting room and notified when it is time to join your visit. Once the provider is ready, tap “Join.”

Note: Ensure your device is on and push notifications are enabled for the MyChart app to receive visit updates.
